Prayer is Powerful

Bible Text Psalm 107:28-30 (NIV)

²⁸Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
    and he brought them out of their distress.
²⁹ He stilled the storm to a whisper;
    the waves of the sea were hushed.
³⁰ They were glad when it grew calm,
    and he guided them to their desired haven.

The pleas and the prayers of a godly remnant can accomplish incredible things, not because of us but because of God, because of His promises, because of His character, because of what He has decreed and declared with His word.

Prayer: Cry out to the Lord today on behalf of America and her people. Ask the Lord to quiet the storm and the waves.
