#memoryverse from Week 20 of our #BibleinaYear study at Awake Us Now Ministries #amos413

Pastor completes our study of the Book of Ruth this week as we see God work through the details of His plan for Ruth, Naomi and Boaz as chapter 4 closes out. It’s a beautiful story packed with a prophetic picture of Jesus, our Guardian Redeemer.
We explore Truth #7: “The Old Testament Points to Jesus,” focusing on Luke 24:45 to see how everything written about a Savior in the Old Testament books of The Law, The Prophets and The Writings pointed to Jesus and was fulfilled by Jesus. He is returning, and He will rule forever!
Week 20 we continue with the “Minor Prophets”which are so called not because they are unimportant, but because they are very short compared to Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. They are, in fact, packed with Messianic prophecy and with words about the End of Ages. This week we study Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, and Micah.
Bible in a Year with Pastor Dodge will take you from Genesis to Revelation. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is alive and active, not dry, dusty old stuff! We will also see evidence of Jesus throughout the entire Scriptures, from beginning to end. Join us as we travel through the Bible together.

We explore Truth #6: “Making disciples is our greatest mission.” We will focus on the last verses in Matthew 28 and dig into what it means to be a disciple. Pastor will also point out the command is to make disciples, not converts or church members!
The “Minor Prophets” are so called not because they are unimportant, but because they are very short compared to Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. They are, in fact, packed with Messianic prophecy and with words about the End of Ages. This week we study Hosea and Joel.
