Rescued by Truth: Week 39

This week Pastor continues to explore locations of biblical history as we go over the location of the exodus. The exodus is at the heart not only of the Old Testament Scriptures, but also the New. The exodus story of the passover lamb foreshadows our Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ. The exodus is a story of God working in history and in these last days our God is pulling out all the stops to call us back to Himself. As God broke into their lives in the story of the exodus, our God continues to break into our lives today. Pastor continues with this truth: “God’s Word is for my generation!”

In Biblical times, people did not understand what was coming nor heed the warnings, and that is how it will be for the final generation before Jesus returns. Many are ignoring the signs and carrying on with life as normal, but these stories are real and they have a lot to teach us!
