What benefits does God provide His people through the gift of prophecy?
Day 2 – Acts of Kindness for December
Each day from December 1 – 25 we will post an Act of Kindness along with Readings and Family Activities.
Today’s Act of Kindness: Write a note of appreciation, thanks, or love to someone special. Be specific in your note. Share why they are appreciated, or share the reason you’re thanking them, or why it is that you love them so much.
Mail it, or put in their lunch box, under their pillow, or any other place that they could “find” it!

Today’s Bible Reading: Micah 5:2-5a
Today’s Family Activity: Write a letter to Jesus thanking Him for coming to earth to save us from our sin.
THESE IDEAS are prepared for you and won’t place a time or financial burden on you, but will help you place your focus on the Real Reason for the Season.

Be Confident
Optimist or pessimist? Glass half-full or half-empty? God trains us to live with confidence!
Day 1 – Acts of Kindness for December
The Christmas season begins in mid-November as stores and shops begin to display their Christmas items. By Black Friday, Christmas is in full swing and so are we, as we begin putting in the extra time and effort in preparing to make the holidays “merry and bright.” And yet, so many times we come away from the season exhausted, disappointed and with regrets, wishing we would have, could have…. and convincing ourselves that next year will be different. Many of us would like to move our Christmas focus onto the One whose birthday we celebrate, but in an already busy season – the thought of adding more can be overwhelming.
HERE ARE IDEAS that are prepared for you and won’t place a time or financial burden on you, but will help you place your focus on the Real Reason for the Season.
Each day from December 1 – 25 we will post an Act of Kindness, a short Bible Reading and a family activity.

Today’s Act of Kindness: Wave to a neighbor!
Today’s Bible Reading: John 3:16, John 1:1-5
Today’s Family Activity: Do a count down to Christmas using a calendar.
Join us this Sunday for an inspirational new series, “St. Luke’s Christmas” with Pastor Christopher Dodge.
The Gospel of John – Week 26
The Gospel of John may be one of the most powerful books ever written. Scholarly and archeological discoveries in recent decades give us new insight on details found within, and we now see many things that we missed before!
Celebrate!
On the day Jesus returns, we want to be among those who hear Him say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Those who know the Lord Jesus will want to live out His love, mercy, and forgiveness in their daily lives; they will celebrate, not fear, His return!
Dismantling The Idol Factory
The human heart is an idol factory. How do we dismantle the idols we manufacture there?
Leadership
“Follow the leader…” Who is the leader? Human leadership is always flawed and always disappoints. But there is a leader who is flawless, always in control, and upon whose Word and leadership we can rely – the Living God!
Thanksgiving
One day, we will see God’s glory in its entire fullness. Until then, we are called to be both thankful and fully awake!
Idol Factory
Crooks only produce counterfeits of things that are real. That’s why we don’t see any fake $3 bills floating around, yet also why there are so many counterfeit gods. Discover the true God and enjoy Him!
