Bible in a Year Week 10 – Judges and Ruth. Judges is a painful book, but also one that shows how merciful, patient, gracious, and forgiving God is. Ruth, which takes place in this 300 year window of the book of Juedges, of moral and spiritual chaos, shows that even in the most ungodly and horrendous of times, God remains faithful, and that even in those dark times, there are still faithful people, some of them ones we would think unlikely.
