Everyday is a great day for Acts of Kindness, but Christmas is an especially good time for sharing Jesus’ love with others. At a time when people are more stressed and anxious than usual, it’s a true kindness to bless them through your actions of love.
Today’s Act of Kindness: Buy a coffee or a hot cocoa for a stranger.Â
Today’s Bible Reading: Isaiah 11:1-10
Today’s Family Activity: Make sock puppets and tell the Christmas story.
Each day from December 1 – 25 we will post an Act of Kindness along with Readings and Family Activities.
Today’s Act of Kindness: Write a note of appreciation, thanks, or love to someone special. Be specific in your note. Share why they are appreciated, or share the reason you’re thanking them, or why it is that you love them so much.
Mail it, or put in their lunch box, under their pillow, or any other place that they could “find” it!Â
Today’s Bible Reading: Micah 5:2-5a
Today’s Family Activity: Write a letter to Jesus thanking Him for coming to earth to save us from our sin.
THESE IDEAS are prepared for you and won’t place a time or financial burden on you, but will help you place your focus on the Real Reason for the Season.
